Elly De La Cruz homered, scored three times and drove in three runs as the Cincinnati Reds rallied to beat the Detroit Tigers 8-4 on Sunday. De La Cruz singled and scored in the fourth, had an RBI single before scoring in a four-run eighth and hit a two-run homer in the ninth.

Both teams have put on a power display during the first two games of the weekend series between the Cincinnati Reds and the host Detroit Tigers.

CINCINNATI -- Less than 24 hours after getting blown out 11-5 in Detroit, the Reds bounced back and beat the Tigers 11-1 on Saturday afternoon. The series is now even at one game apiece between the Reds and the team with the best record in Major League Baseball.

Elly De La Cruz will lead the Cincinnati Reds into a matchup with Wenceel Perez and the Detroit Tigers on Friday at 7:10 p.m. ET, in the first game of a three-game series at Comerica Park.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants will break a National League West deadlock on Saturday night, when they play the second in a three-game series at Dodger Stadium.
