Police are investigating whether a crime was committed when frontman Bob Vylan led the audience in chants of "Death to the IDF" — the Israel Defense Forces — during the band's set.

The London punk-rap duo Bob Vylan used their set at UK music festival Glastonbury to loudly protest Israel’s genocidal military campaign in Gaza, including a “death to the IDF” chant. Afterwards, Glastonbury released a statement equating the chant with antisemitism,

"We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine," the duo wrote on Instagram, days after chanting "death to the IDF" during their Glastonbury set over the weekend.
