Cole Eiserman and Shane Lachance scored and Mikhail Yegorov stopped 22 shots for Boston University (24-14-2). The Terriers, seeking their first title since 2009, came up short yet again in making their third consecutive Frozen Four appearance, with their previous two ending with semifinal losses.

Boston University fell short in its bid for a sixth National Championship Saturday night in St. Louis, losing to Western Michigan in the Frozen Four title game.

The Terriers stayed within a goal of the mighty Broncos into the third period, but three unanswered goals handed WMU its first national championship.
