Pontus Holmberg put Tampa Bay up by three goals late in the second period and the Lightning held on to beat the Boston Bruins 4-3 on Monday. Holmberg scored with a wrist shot 3:37 into the second to give the Lightning a 4-1 lead.
The Bruins defenseman, filling in for the injured Hampus Lindholm, scored his first goal with the organization in Boston’s 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was a little extra special for Harris, who’s a Haverhill native.
Jordan Harris, who made his Bruins debut, got the primary assist on the play, marking his first point with the organization. The Haverhill, Mass, native skated on the second pair with Andrew Peeke and finished with an assist, block and two hits through 16:25 of ice time.
