The Arkansas Razorbacks overcame a 15+ point deficit to beat No. 14 Michigan, giving John Calipari his first major win at Arkansas in dramatic fashion.

The college basketball season has gone on long enough now for Big Blue Nation to get used to John Calipari wearing red. The new Arkansas coach just got his first ranked win in Fayetteville as the Hogs went to the Big Apple to take down the #14 Michigan Wolverines 89-87.

The leading vote-getter was John Calipari. After that came Dusty May. Coincidentally, those two men's teams will meet late Tuesday when Calipari's Arkansas Razorbacks play May's Michigan Wolverines in the nightcap of the 30th annual Jimmy V Classic inside New York's Madison Square Garden.

The Razorbacks and Wolverines traded blows, with Arkansas leading by as many as 18 points in the second half after trailing by as many as 15 in the first. Michigan’s Danny Wolf was finding remarkable passes while Jonas Aidoo was protecting the Razorbacks’ rim at a high level.
