A man was killed in a shooting in downtown Denton, and the suspect was detained. Police are investigating the incident that involved an argument near the Historic Downtown Square.

A man was fatally shot early Sunday morning near downtown Sacramento, according to police reports. Just before 2 a.m., Sacramento officers were dispatched to the area of Blues Alley and 12th Street where officers located a man with at least one gunshot wound, said Sacramento Police Department spokesperson officer Allison Smith.
