After FC Porto’s debut at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, manager Martín Anselmi shared his thoughts on the 0-0 draw against Palmeiras.

Palmeiras and two-time European champion Porto tied 0-0 in their opening match of the Club World Cup before a crowd of 46,275 at MetLife Stadium, which was just over half full.

In just the 2nd minute, Porto almost caught Palmeiras cold with ball over the top, Fabio Vieira finding Joao Mario, who was denied by goalkeeper Weverton. At the other end, Vitor Roque’s indecision cost him an opportunity moments later, before Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao missed the target when well-placed on his left foot.
