As the Miami Heat lost to the Boston Celtics Monday night, they look to break their current two-game losing streak Wednesday as they face the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the Heat missed star Jimmy Butler in the defeat as he gets the latest injury update provided by the team itself for the upcoming outing.

Butler hurt his knee while converting a layup as he was fouled with 1:27 left in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 119-116 loss to the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena. Butler remained in the game to take and make the free throw, completing the three-point play to cut the Heat’s deficit to three.

Heat star Jimmy Butler is out Monday vs. the Celtics with knee soreness and is considered day-to-day moving forward.

It appears that the Lakers will have their leading duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James available against the Heat. The Lakers ruled out Jaxson Hayes (right ankle sprain), Bronny James Jr. (left heel contusion), Jarred Vanderbilt (right foot surgery recovery) and Christian Wood (left knee surgery recovery) for Wednesday’s game in Miami.
