Karen Read arrived in court for the first day of her second murder trial as her defense team maintains her innocence, saying she is the victim of a police cover-up.

Roberts, who was with Read when they found John O’Keefe’s snow-covered body, is returning to the stand to finish questioning from prosecutors before the defense begins cross examining her.
