LAS VEGAS ( FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a crash in the northeast Las Vegas Valley. According to LVMPD, an SUV and a pickup truck collided around 3:40 a.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos near Cheyenne. The drivers of both cars were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the Las Vegas valley from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sustained wind speeds of 20 to 30 miles per hour are expected, along with some gusts exceeding 40 mph. The county offered the following tips to help limit exposure:
