Austin Reaves may be able to keep the Los Angeles Lakers afloat with LeBron James and Luka Dončić out. The fifth-year player posted a career-high 51 points in a 127-120 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, adding 11 rebounds and nine assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers were already significantly undermanned heading into Sunday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings with both Luka Doncic and LeBron James out with injuries. Unfortunately for L.A., they suffered another loss to its backcourt, with Gabe Vincent being forced to exit against the Kings.

Meanwhile, the Kings, who were just 14-25-3 ATS at home last year, have a lot of mouths to feed offensively, starting with Zach LaVine (questionable) and DeMar DeRozan, and barely edged past the Jazz on Friday.
