It's been a lingering question whether Naughty Dog would follow-up 2020's acclaimed The Last of Us Part 2 with another sequel, and in an interview with Variety, Druckmann gave us our clearest answer yet: no, probably not.

While the Last of Us director previously suggested the story could go on, he more recently said it's not likely.

Despite seemingly teasing a third game last year, Druckmann said that the HBO adaptation "could be" the last thing from the series.
