A staff member who died in an accident at Jacob's Pillow dance center in Becket, Massachusetts on Friday has been identified. The Berkshire District Attorney's Office said Production Manager Kat (Kathryn) Sirico was killed.

A production manager for the dance center known as Jacob’s Pillow was killed on Friday, according to a statement from Jacob’s Pillow’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Nick Kepley. Kat Sirico was killed in a “tragic accident” that occurred outdoors at the center’s campus on the afternoon of Aug. 1, Kepley said.

Jacob’s Pillow canceled weekend programming as staff members grieved the death of Kat Sirico, who was moving staging platforms that toppled, the authorities said.
