Bodies of missing Whisper Owen and her daughter were found in a submerged car in an Escalon canal, concluding the search for the Sacramento residents.

Whisper Owen and her daughter Sandra, who were reported missing last month, were found submerged under a bridge in Oakdale, according to a volunteer dive group that was aiding in the search.

Whisper Owen, 36, and her 8-month-old daughter, Sandra McCarty, were found dead in a canal near California Highway 120.
