Susman Godfrey LLP sued the Trump administration Friday in response to an executive order signed by the president accusing the Houston-based law of undermining the quality of U.S. elections. The firm represented Dominion Voting Machines in its defamation suit against Fox News.

After President Donald Trump imposed sanctions on the law firm Susman Godfrey, the firm sued, saying his actions were retaliatory and unconstitutional.

A federal judge on Tuesday placed on hold much of Donald Trump’s order forbidding the federal government from doing business with anyone who hires the law firm Susman Godfrey, making it the fourth time a judge has found the president’s targeting of law firms is likely unconstitutional.
