Detroit Tigers trade pickup Chris Paddack breaks his silence on being traded to Detroit, and he takes a subtle jab at the Minnesota Twins as well.

The Twins made the first of what could be several trades ahead of Thursday’s Trade Deadline on Monday, sending veteran right-handed starter Chris Paddack and Minor League right-hander Randy Dobnak to the Tigers for catching prospect Enrique Jimenez.

Paddack showcased his tried and true fastball-changeup one-two punch, pounding the zone, but also gave some of his off-speed pitches a run and had a lot of success. He had an 18% whiff rate and an astounding 80% first-pitch strike rate.
