LANSING — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is in Switzerland to participate in the annual World Economic Forum. It is her second trip to Davos for the gathering of global political and business elite. She also attended in 2023 as part of an investment mission.

A press release from Whitmer's office described the World Economic Forum event as a gathering of leaders to "shape the future of the global economy."
