Most U.S. adults are worried about health care becoming more expensive, according to a new AP-NORC poll, as they make decisions about next year’s health coverage and a government shutdown keeps future health costs in limbo for millions.

The shutdown has entered its fourth week, and Americans are feeling its effects on air travel, infrastructure funding, and more – not to mention the bank accounts of federal employees who have gone without pay this month. The shutdown is on track to be the longest in U.S. history.
