An officer-involved death investigation has been launched after police fatally shot a knife-wielding suspect earlier this week in Aurora, according to the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office.

The reward seeks to obtain an arrest and conviction for those responsible for the 8-year-old Navajo Nation girl's death, the FBI said.

This morning, Swansboro police told WITN they believe Katy Hiatt may be dead.
