NFL, Eagles and Week 17

A look at current NFC playoff matchups, rematches, and the seeding chaos that could reshape the bracket before Sunday.
The Eagles are 9-5, and back into the winners' circle after a 31-0 shutout win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia still has two NFC East contests remaining, but a Dallas loss to Minnesota would all but wrap up back-to-back division titles.
Technically, it's possible that the Eagles could face the Seahawks and Bears in the first round if both end up losing their division leads. Seattle could get passed by either the Rams or the 49ers, while the Bears could get passed by the Packers.
All the Eagles need is one win, or one Cowboys loss to sew things up. The next order of business is the Eagles' seeding in the NFC playoffs. As of right now, they sit in the 3-spot, which would assure them one home game in the postseason. They would need some really good luck to host a second.
Following the Rams' loss to the Panthers and Eagles' loss to the Bears, Chicago is the No. 1 seed in the NFC entering Week 14
The Houston Texans became the sixth AFC team to clinch a postseason berth with their Saturday win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
The loser of tonight's Rams-Seahawks game could end up facing the Eagles in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

The Rams fell 5 spots in the NFC playoff standings this week following their loss to the Seahawks and the 49ers' win over the Colts.
With the Lions losing on Christmas Day in Minnesota, the NFC playoff field is nearly set. The NFC's postseason qualifiers are the Seahawks, Bears, Eagles, Rams, 49ers, Packers, and the eventual winner of the NFC South.
