An Endeavor Air flight from New York to Omaha made an emergency landing at Eppley Airfield after a crack was discovered in a window during descent, with no injuries reported.

A routine Saturday afternoon at McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa briefly turned tense when a small passenger plane declared an emergency and came in under an "Alert 2" designation. Fire and rescue crews lined the runway as the aircraft approached, but the drama ended quietly: the plane landed safely, and no injuries were reported.

The plane carrying 36 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing due to a left engine failure and oil pressure issues on Monday night.

A Delta Airline flight made an emergency landing at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa. Becky Huckaby, vice president of Public Relations, said the plane called in an "alert two," meaning something was not operating correctly on the aircraft. She said that could be anything from smoke to a light not working correctly.

According to Lubbock Fire Rescue, they are responding to Preston Smith International Airport for an emergency landing.

Sioux City officials say that a small single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing near Sioux Gateway Airport Saturday morning.
