The plane carrying 36 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing due to a left engine failure and oil pressure issues on Monday night.
A Delta Airline flight made an emergency landing at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa. Becky Huckaby, vice president of Public Relations, said the plane called in an "alert two," meaning something was not operating correctly on the aircraft. She said that could be anything from smoke to a light not working correctly.
