Artist Arutyun Gozukuchikyan shared photos of his newest mural Monday, which is located at 8251 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The mural features a photo from a 2019 interaction between Doncic and Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Since Doncic was still a Maverick in 2019, Gozukuchikyan painted over the superstar’s jersey to have him in Lakers gear.

Lakers superstar Luka Doncic drew an average of 2.01 million viewers in his highly-anticipated debut against the Jazz. Doncic finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists. The Lakers won 132-113. Then, Doncic tallied 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal in a 131-119 loss in a rematch to the Jazz.

Instagram user @artoon_art put up a mural on Melrose Avenue of Luka Doncic and Kobe Bryant, depicting a time when Bryant trash-talked Doncic courtside in Slovenian about a month before Bryant passed in a helicopter crash.
