Two-term Councilor Michael Garcia is running for the top job after a contentious relationship with incumbent Alan Webber.

The suspect responsible for a fatal hit-and-run in downtown Laredo has reportedly turned themselves in to the Laredo Police.

Michael Garcia, wanted for the murder of Ismael Rios, turns himself in. He faces charges including aggravated battery and murder, says Hobbs Police.
