NEXT WEEK: Temperatures drop back down for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 40s. There is a slight chance of mixed showers Monday and Tuesday AM. The rest of the week features temperatures in the 40s and 50s with isolated shower chances.
Heavier rain events are becoming more frequent and intense across most of the United States—and experts say these regions will be hit the hardest.
SPRING SNOW SHOWERS It’s a chilly night across southern New England, with temperatures settling into the mid 30s. The gusty winds from Monday have eased, but clouds will continue to increase overnight as our next system approaches.
The southerly air will bring in much warmer temperatures, with highs on Wednesday in the upper 60s and low 70s. Temperatures stay warm the rest of the week with highs in the 60s. The 70s will return on Sunday and next Monday.
Snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain continue to fall across the state this morning. By midday, all precipitation should turn over to rain, which will continue throughout the afternoon and evening for most.
