Happy Friday, ArkLaTex! A messy weather pattern is expected to begin tonight and continue through the weekend. Multiple rounds of heavy rain and a few severe storms will be possible. Friday: We begin the day with a cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving across the I-30 corridor.
October nor’easter will continue to intensify as it tracks up the East Coast, bringing with it the potential for heavy rain and powerful winds.
In high-elevation areas, snow will pose a threat. NWS meteorologists warned of more than a foot of snow in some mountainous regions, which could create hazards to travel. In the U.S, the heaviest snow is expected to fall in Northern Washington.
In North Texas, precipitation is expected throughout the day with chances of heavy rainfall. Storms will continue Saturday night and exit the region overnight. Temperatures will be in the mid-70s Saturday.
As a storm slammed the Los Angeles area Tuesday with heavy rain, roads became flooded - creating dangerous conditions for drivers.
