U.S. president Donald Trump proposed the UFC host an event at the White House on July 4, 2026. UFC CEO Dana White said he plans on putting a "badass" card for the event, but will the sport's biggest star be a part of it?

Almost immediately after Trump made his announcement, recently retired UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones stated he was ending his retirement—that started all of two weeks ago—and re-entering the UFC’s anti-doping program to give him a chance to fight at the White House.
