WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- — Adam Lowry and Kyle Connor each had a goal and an assist, and the Winnipeg Jets beat the New York Islanders 5-4 on Tuesday night. Dylan DeMelo, Jonathan Toews and Josh Morrissey also scored for Winnipeg in its third straight win. Connor Hellebuyck finished with 23 saves.

It has been almost a month since the Jets last won a hockey game but they snapped their 11-game winless streak with a big five goal outburst to defeat the Kings by a final score of 5-1. They last won a game back on December 13th which was also a 5-1 victory. Lots of goal droughts also got snapped.
