Charles Leclerc burst out laughing on the radio, taunting Max Verstappen as he knew that the Dutchman would be unable to fight him on the final lap of the Mexican Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver came under attack during the closing laps, but held on for second place.

Charles Leclerc would happily swap positions with Lewis Hamilton on the Mexico City grid, but there's nothing altruistic about his motives.
“What I can say is what I’ve always said, and that’s very clear,” began Leclerc when asked about the speculation. “I’ve always loved Ferrari so much, and my only obsession at the moment is to win in red, whether it’s now or in the future, and I want to bring back Ferrari to the top.”
