Denver's Nikola Jokic had a career-best 19 assists -- his 28th career game with at least 15 assists, the most by a non-guard in NBA history -- while adding 18 points and 9 rebounds as the Nuggets defeated the Indiana Pacers 125-116 on Monday night.

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets beat the Pacers by a score of 125-116 (in Indiana). Jokic finished the win with 18 points, nine rebounds, 19 assists, four steals and one block while shooting 9/14 from the field in 39 minutes of playing time.

Jokic set a career-high in assists with 19 as the Nuggets won for the 10th time in their last 11 games with a 125-116 victory over the Pacers. Asked if he still feels the same way about the joy of passing in relation to scoring, he said after the win, “Of course. It’s an easy question.” He was not aware of the new career record, however.
