External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Parliament today on the issue of deportation of Indian immigrants from the US. Jaishankar said that "It is the obligation of all countries to take back their nationals if they are found to be living illegally abroad."

Addressing the Rajya Sabha, the minister stated that the deportation from the US is not new and has been a process with India since 2009.
