Millions of people in South Asia are celebrating Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, by smearing each other with brightly colored powder, dancing to festive music and feasting on traditional sweets prepared for the occasion.

Hundreds of people danced to upbeat music on the lawn of Bethany’s Parivar Park Saturday afternoon for a Holi festival that sprawled across the grass, as more than 1,000 people celebrated throughout the park.
