Toby Keith may no longer be with us, but one of his lifelong dreams is finally coming true. On Sunday, April 27, the late country star’s official Instagram account announced that his horse, Render Judgment, is competing in the 2025 Kentucky Derby.

Render Judgment, a colt co-owned by Keith’s Dream Walkin’ Farms, is officially set to compete in the 150th Kentucky Derby on Friday, May 3, at Churchill Downs.

The horse starting out of gate 15 during Kentucky Derby 151 won’t have the greatest odds of winning, but it does hold sentimental value. For decades, Toby Keith lived his dream singing in front of thousands of fans across the globe.
