Charley Hull's six-under 66 puts her three shots behind leader Miyu Yamashita heading into the final round of the Women's Open.

Japan's Miyu Yamashita surged into the lead at the AIG Women's Open with a superb second round seven-under 65 at Royal Porthcawl on Friday, with compatriot and joint overnight leader Rio Takeda three shots adrift.

It was both rain and shine on the first day of the Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl. Luckily for the 144-strong field, there was more sunshine than rain showers as they competed for a pot of gold, which has gotten bigger this year.
