The Oregon State baseball teams saw its late lead disappear but rallied in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat Louisville in the CWS opener.

Dax Whitney was dominant early and the Oregon State Beavers were clutch late, beating Louisville 4-3 in walkoff fashion Friday at the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 2025 Men's College World Series kicked off Friday, with No. 13 Coastal Carolina earning the first win of the tournament over Arizona and No. 8 Oregon State outlasting Louisville.
