South Africa has won the World Test Championship against titleholder Australia by five wickets after knocking off the last 69 runs required on the fourth morning of the final in London.

After South Africa ended their ICC trophy jinx by clinching the historic World Test Championship mace, grand celebrations broke out at Lord's, London. South Africa bounced back to beat defending champions Australia by 5 wickets to win their first ICC trophy in 27 years.
