The Badgers announced Wednesday that their season opener with Miami (Ohio) has been moved up from Aug. 30 to Aug. 28.

The Badgers will take on Miami (Ohio) at Camp Randall Stadium on a day they haven't played a regular-season game since 2011.

According to a post on X from the university, the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks will be coming to Camp Randall Stadium on Thursday, August 28th instead of on Saturday, August 30th. The game’s kickoff time is expected to be announced at a later date.

Wisconsin Football announced on Wednesday that the team's contest against Miami of Ohio has been moved to prime-time on Thursday, Aug. 28. The Badgers have opened six of the last eight seasons with a night game dating back to 2017. Wisconsin is 6-0 in those contests, according to UW Athletics.
