The No. 8 Houston Cougars captured what might've been their best win of the season and one of the top statements in all of college basketball in an explosive 94-82 win over No. 14 Arkansas at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Saturday evening as part of the Never Forget Tribute Classic.

D.J. Wagner and Billy Richmond have given the Razorbacks a spark on offense, but Arkansas just cannot get stops on defense. A Richmond 3 was followed by an Emmanuel Sharp layup, and Wagner's 3 on the next drive was answered with a corner 3 from Ramon Walker.

Houston defeated Arkansas 91-65 on Dec. 2, 2017, in Houston. Houston is a 4 1/2-point favorite, per FanDuel. The game will be televised by CBS, which can be accessed on Paramount+ (subscriber login required). Arkansas head coach John Calipari was frustrated with his team's inability to make free throws against Houston.

The Houston Cougars took down Arkansas in arguably their most significant victory so far.

Emanuel Sharp scored 22 points, Kingston Flemings added 21 and No. 8 Houston used some excellent long-range shooting to beat No. 14 Arkansas 94-85.

"Don't sleep on Houston," Kelvin Sampson famously said last April after the Cougars stunned much of the college hoops world by ending Cooper Flagg's college career with the Coogs' epic upset of No. 1 Duke in the Final Four. It's time to remind the world to wake up again. Maybe it's because Houston loves to win ugly.
