The page recently shared a post featuring different characters in the show accompanied by “HBO is cooking.” Most of the replies — from fellow Last of Us fans — don’t seem to agree though.

Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Season 2 of the video-game adaptation, The Last of Us, is set to premiere on HBO and Max in April. "Five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind," HBO said in a press release on Monday.

New episodes in The Last of Us Season 1 debuted on Sunday nights, which, if that formula holds for Season 2, would mean it could premiere on April 6, April 13, April 20, or April 27. Another popular HBO show, The White Lotus, debuts its third season on February 16 and wraps up on April 6.
