Cynthia Erivo did not win the Oscar for Best Actress at the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday night. The award went to Mikey Madison for her role in Anora. Erivo, 38, was nominated for her portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked.

While she's missed her shot at the title of youngest, she could join the current tier alongside the Lopezes, Legend, and Pasek and Paul if she gets another run at the Oscar next year for her work in Wicked's forthcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good. The singer turned heads with the bold beauty transformation.
