Ottawa Senators Recall Stephen Halliday
The Ottawa Senators announced today that forward Stephen Halliday has been recalled from the team’s AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators. Ottawa had an open spot on their 23-man active roster, meaning Halliday was able to be recalled without a corresponding move.
The Red Wings look to continue their winning ways on home ice. After a tough loss to the Boston Bruins last week, the team returned home on Friday night, coming away with a 4-2 win over the San Jose Sharks. Detroit has now won three games in a row at LCA, having also beaten the Carolina Hurricanes and Vancovuer Canucks during that span.
