A second federal judge on Thursday extended a block barring the Trump administration from freezing grants and loans potentially totaling trillions of dollars.
Bally’s Corp. Inc. has won site plan approval for its $1.7 billion Chicago casino. City planning officials on Jan. 23 approved plans for Providence-based Bally's 30-acre entertainment, gaming, retail, linear park and hospitality complex along the Chicago River. The project has been under local review for more than three years.
The gaming development is slated to rise on the site of the old Chicago Tribune printing plant along the Chicago River.

A Rhode Island College employee, Dean Faiola, was charged with video voyeurism following a report of a hidden camera in a restroom at the college's dining hall. Campus police searched all public restrooms on campus but did not find any cameras, a RIC spokesman said.
