GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies are searching for a suspect who ran away after crashing his vehicle. Deputies said they were pursuing a Honda Accord for reckless driving when the chase crossed over into Greenville County.

One person was killed Monday and another was injured when two SUVs driving in opposite directions collided on a Richland County road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The collision happened at about 8:45 a.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) reported the death of a person following a crash Tuesday morning on Sparkleberry Lane near Wotan Road.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C.C (WOLO)– South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in Sumter last week. SC Troopers say on Friday, February 28 before 10 p.m, a pedestrian was attempting to cross U.S. Highway 15 at Lewis Road when they were hit by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

The driver, identified by the Horry County Coroner’s Office as 31-year-old Darius Holmes, was the only person in the car. Holmes died from his injuries. SCHP is investigating the crash.

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Colleton County Fire-Rescue crews say a who woman was hit by a car Sunday night has been hospitalized. Crews responded to the scene along Charleston Highway at the intersection of Sandy Dam Lane around 9:10 p.m. Sunday.
