BU's Tara Watchorn becomes the first person in Hockey East women’s history to win a league championship as both a player and coach
The Boston Fleet of the Professional Women’s Hockey League played its first game at Agganis Arena Saturday. The game marked the Fleet’s largest attendance of the year with 5,968 fans. The Fleet fell to the Montréal Victoire 3-2 in overtime. The team will be back at Agganis Arena Wednesday, March 26.
Fans packed into Agganis Arena on Saturday afternoon to see the Boston Fleet take on the Montreal Victoire. In a physical, close matchup the Victoire came out victorious, winning 3-2 in overtime.

The gathering in Boston was organized by the group Women’s March, which staged massive demonstrations across the US the day after Trump took office for his first term in 2017.
Austin Benigni scored 30 points to lead Navy over Boston University, 86-78, on Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament at Case Gymnasium.
