Daredevil: Born Again is fantastic, but I'm struggling to look past what the series seems to be doing with Karen Page and it might be a dealbreaker.

Matt Murdock is back starring on his own show and he brought some familiar faces with him to Disney+. That included his colleagues and friends Foggy Nelson and Karen Page.

Karen Page has always been special for Matt throughout Netflix's Daredevil, and she is one of his few love interests who has stayed in his life through all three seasons. While the couple briefly tried exploring a romantic relationship, they eventually decided they were better off as friends.

After thinking about it a little bit, we're still not happy about that heartbreaking Foggy moment in the season premiere of Daredevil: Born Again.

Daredevil: Born Again has created the perfect environment to cause Karen to relapse into her substance abuse, just like the comics.

When we last saw the trio in the season three finale of "Daredevil," they decide to open a new practice, Nelson, Murdock and Page.

It's no secret that the show originally didn't feature Henson and Woll, and it was only when showrunner Dario Scardapane came on board and retooled the series to be more of a continuation of the story than a reboot that Foggy and Karen's return became possible.

Towards the end of the episode, Matt and Fisk meet in a diner for a casual face-off. Fisk mentions mentoring a ward, who Matt says he heard shot him in the face. They're talking about Maya Lopez, who appeared in Hawkeye and then had her own spin-off Echo. They also talk about their many attempts to kill and/or incarcerate each other.
