According to The Dallas Morning News, the Rangers have since pulled their hat from the team store because of the spelling mishap. That move has now created a lucrative secondary market for the hats that did get sold prior to the Rangers catching the error.

It's gotten to the point where MLB is pulling several Overlap hats from the team stores. Earlier this week, MLB pulled the Overlap hat for the Texas Rangers after the design happened to spell out a vulgar word in Spanish — something that was missed throughout the design and approval process.

Two more hats from New Era's MLB Overlap line have also been pulled from circulation following the initial removal of a Rangers hat from MLB’s official online store earlier in the week.
