The Florida Panthers have just rolled into Raleigh and embarrassed the Carolina Hurricanes in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Final. In Game 2, the Panthers jumped all over the Hurricanes right out of the gate and cruised to a 5-0 win.

The Florida Panthers secured victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Carolina Hurricanes, while the Edmonton Oilers prepared to face the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final.

That’s five straight playoff losses to the Panthers, and 13 straight in this round, period, for the Hurricanes since June 1, 2006. Eric Staal and Erik Cole were on the ice that night; their efforts to cheer the team on from a suite Tuesday went unheeded.
