Not that Wisconsin needed a reminder, but life on the road in the Big Ten isn’t easy. The Badgers, who drained 32 three-pointers in the previous two games, got a taste of their own medicine in the second half at Maryland on Wednesday night.

Wisconsin arguably lost Wednesday's game on the margins. Maryland shot a tick better from the floor (40% vs. 37.3%) and much better from three (50% vs. 33.3%). But the close score accurately depicts a game that hung in the balance until the final minutes. The Badgers lost due to two key areas: turnovers and free-throw shooting.
