Arsenal kicked off pre-season with a dominant 1–0 victory over Milan in Singapore courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s second-half strike.

Bukayo Saka helped Arsenal produce a winning start to their preparations for the 2025-26 Premier League season. The winger, who led out his team as captain, scored the only goal of the game seven minutes into the second half as the Gunners beat AC Milan 1-0 in Singapore.

Mikel Arteta’s side began their 2025 pre-season tour with a 1-0 victory over AC Milan at Singapore’s National Stadium, courtesy of a second-half strike from Bukayo Saka. The game marked first appearances for summer arrivals Martin Zubimendi, Christian Nørgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga, as Arsenal fielded a largely familiar line-up.

However, Arsenal dumped their Italian counterparts out of Europe in both 2008 and 2018; the former year saw them become the first English team to ever defeat Milan at San Siro, as Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor struck in a 2-0 last-16 second-leg win.

Arsenal won the Tridentity Cup in Singapore despite losing the penalty shootouts to AC Milan. The game had ended 1-0 in favour of Arteta's side after normal time.
