NASCAR heads back to the United States after a trip to Mexico City. The first Mexico race may not be the last. Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez hosted Xfinity Series and Cup Series events over the weekend.

Logistics a factor, and a decision about any NASCAR return to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez next year is expected to be made in the next month or two.

The latest look at the NASCAR Cup Series playoff bubble heading into Pocono with 10 races remaining in the regular season.

The NASCAR Cup Series will make its debut at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in Mexico City for nearly 90 minutes of practice Friday. Cup cars will be on track for a 50-minute session starting at 4:05 p.m. ET and then another 25-minute session on the 15-turn, 2.42-mile road course at 5:30 p.m.
